origins

From a very young age, Blake has always been captivated by anything hand-crafted. From collaborating with top designers, to studying under acclaimed milliners and wig makers, he has always taken every opportunity to take his creations to the next level.

Raised in Fullerton CA, Blake had the privilege of meeting his mentor, Beverly Shirk, as a freshman in high school. Through her decades-long commitment to the art of sewing and costume design, he learned to approach every project with the same dedication and passion.
